Weight classes and rules

Below are the weight classes for the 2 major federations we will be competing in. If you don't fall perfectly in one weight class don't worry. This is just to give you an idea of where you WILL be at moving forward.

Additionally, I have included links to the USAPL Handbook (an abbreviated full rulebook) and the USPA Rulebook. They have specific notes on technique, equipment that can be used and how competitions are organized and run. Please take some time and read through some of the main rule points. If you currently use any training equipment (belt, wrist wraps, knee sleeves/wraps etc) check to see which if any federation from the two below it would be valid in. If there are further questions regarding this I would be happy to answer.
